NATE Statement on Confirmation of Douglas Parker, Assistant Secretary of Labor
(Washington, D.C.) – NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association today issued the following statement congratulating Douglas Parker on his confirmation by the United States Senate as the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health:
“NATE congratulates Douglas Parker on his confirmation as Assistant Secretary for OSHA. Our Association shares OSHA’s abiding commitment to safety, and we look forward to continuing our strong collaboration with the agency,” said Todd Washam, NATE Director of Government Relations and Wireless Industry Network. “Throughout his public service, Assistant Secretary Parker has proven that he is committed to workplace safety, and NATE looks forward to working with him in support of NATE’s small business members.”
NATE also sent a letter to Assistant Secretary Parker encouraging OSHA to work closely with NATE to ensure the agency is considering industry-adopted safety standards.
